Darko Marco (Book 22)

David picks the Animorphs off one by one. Or does he? Marco is in the closet. 

Does Rachel referencing South Park give us a clue to when this book takes place? Would the police really call an exotic animal vet upon finding a wounded tiger? When Rachel privately thought-speaks to Marco in his bedroom, why does she reach David, disguised as Marco, and not the real Marco trapped in the closet? (After all, the Animorphs have previously contacted each other via thought-speak without being able to see one another.) Is David’s primary goal truly to kill the Animorphs, given that he never finishes the job, or is he more concerned with terrorizing them?
